Privacy Policy

Who I am

My website address is: https://anaofgreenst.com. Ana of Green Street is a personal blog I write myself, sharing personal reflections and resources on healing, home, and pursuing the life you’re made for. This blog reflects my personal experiences and is intended for education and general encouragement—it is not a substitute for individualized mental health care, and interacting with this site does not establish a counselor-client relationship. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a licensed therapist or a crisis line in your area.

If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, you can reach me at hello@anaofgreenst.com.

Cookies

I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — such as which posts are read most, how visitors found the site, and general location and device information. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to do this. This data is aggregated and doesn’t identify you personally. You can review Google’s privacy policy for more detail.

I also use Wordfence, a security plugin, to help protect this site from malicious activity. Wordfence may collect visitor IP addresses and set its own security-related cookies as part of this protection. This data is used only for site security, not marketing.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles from other sites). Embedded content from another website behaves exactly as if you had visited that website directly, and that site may collect data, use cookies, or track your interaction with the embedded content.

Affiliate links and sponsored content

This site participates in affiliate marketing programs, which means some posts contain links to books, resources, or products that, if you click and make a purchase, may earn me a small commission at no additional cost to you. I only recommend things I’ve genuinely used, read, or would recommend regardless of any commission. Any post containing affiliate links will include a disclosure near the top of that post, in keeping with FTC guidelines. If a post is sponsored—meaning I was compensated to feature a product—that will always be clearly disclosed as well.

Email list

If you subscribe to my email list, I collect your name and email address through MailerLite, my email service provider. I use this information only to send you blog updates, personal reflections, and occasional resource or product recommendations. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. I do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes. You can review MailerLite’s privacy policy for more detail on how they handle data on their end.

Who I share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Personal essays and reflections published on this blog reflect my own life and experiences. Where other people are mentioned, I limit or change identifying details out of respect for their privacy.

How long I retain your data

Email subscriber data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Once you unsubscribe, your information is removed from my email list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email you receive from me, or by emailing me directly at hello@anaofgreenst.com. Once you unsubscribe, your information is removed from my email list.

What rights you have over your data

If you have subscribed to my email list, you can request an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, or request that I erase it. This doesn’t apply to data I’m required to keep for legal, administrative, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Your name and email address are stored and processed by MailerLite, my email service provider. You can review MailerLite’s privacy policy for more detail on how they handle and store data on their end.
